Linda M. Driscoll

Linda brings to Dream Big! more than 25 years of experience in business, sports, events and non-profit management. From 2002-2009, she served as the Senior Director of Area Operations, and previously, the Director of the Metro-West Area for the American Red Cross of Massachusetts Bay. During this time Linda increased the area offices capacity to respond to clients’ needs, launched new and innovative fundraising programs to gain additional resources, built strong leadership councils to assist with fundraising and community relations and helped to develop a strong local presence for the American Red Cross throughout Eastern Massachusetts.
Prior to founding Dream Big! and working with the American Red Cross, Linda has held a number of executive positions including Community Relations Director for the Women’s Sports Foundation GoGirlGo! Boston; Executive Director for the Massachusetts Amateur Sports Foundation – organizers of the Bay State Games; Director of Sports Management and Program Development for Massachusetts Special Olympics; and a Sports Management Consultant for Special Olympics International in South Africa and Unified Sports Internationally. Linda has also been active in many community organizations and has served as the Past President of the Board of Directors for the New England Women’s Fund and a past member of the NCAA Boston Local Organizing Committee, where she served as the Special Events and Hospitality Chair for the Women’s Final Four in Boston in 2006. Linda’s leadership has been recognized by the Oprah Winfrey Show and she is the recipient of the 2010 New Initiatives Activating Confidence Award presented by the Women's Sports Foundation GoGirlGo! Boston and Boston Sports Woman and the 2011 Women's Initiative Live United Award presented by United Way of Massachusetts Bay & Merrimack valley. Linda continues to serve in an advisory capacity to many non-profit organizations throughout New England.
